Junior ROTC PFA
The ReadyFit JROTC fitness test is an assessment that measures cadet fitness. The test consists of 2 minutes of push-ups, a choice of either 2 minutes of curl-ups OR a max effort for forearm planks, and a 1-mile timed run. You will not need any additional equipment for this test, but you will need a friend to film you and GPS tracking enabled on your device.
All Cadets should be in good physical condition and properly hydrated. A 5-minute warm-up in the ReadyFit app is also recommended. The highest-scoring category is OUTSTANDING and represents performance in the top 10 percentile of high school JROTC students. Those that pass with a satisfactory score or higher may also earn the Physical Fitness Ribbon from your local JROTC program.
